Here is a detailed description of what types of files we accept, vector is highly preferred:

  • Illustrator .ai – Make sure all fonts have been outlined and any embedded images are included.
.eps – Make sure all fonts have been outlined.
  • Photoshop .psd – Do not flatten layers, if possible. Be sure your image is at least 250 dpi for actual print size (300dpi is even better). Include all fonts if applicable.
.pdf – Try to use the highest resolution/quality possible.
  • .jpg/.png – The higher the resolution, the better. The typical 72dpi image off the internet isn’t usually sufficient. Try to save your image at its best quality setting.

Congratulations on your new hat! Whether it's a classic cap from your favorite team or a stylish accessory, taking proper care of it will ensure it stays looking great for a long time. Here's a quick and friendly guide on how to keep your new hat in top-notch condition:

  1. Handling with Care: Always handle your hat with clean hands. Avoid touching it excessively, as oils and dirt from your hands can stain the fabric over time.
  2. Wearing and Adjusting: Gently place the hat on your head to avoid stretching the material. Adjust the fit using the adjustable strap at the back, if your hat has one, to prevent undue strain on the cap's structure.
  3. Avoid Water exposure: While some hats are designed to be water-resistant, it's best to avoid exposing your hat to excessive moisture. Rain, swimming pools, and washing machines can damage the fabric and shape of the hat. If it gets wet, gently pat it dry with a clean cloth and let it air dry indoors.
  4. Sun Protection: Hats often shield you from the sun, but they need protection too. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading and weaken the material. Store your hat away from direct sunlight when you're not wearing it.

Cleaning Guidelines: Over time, your hat might accumulate dust and sweat. Here's how to clean it properly:

  1. **Spot Cleaning:** For small stains, use a damp cloth or sponge with mild soap. Gently blot the stained area, and then wipe off any soap residue with a clean, damp cloth.
  2. **Hand Cleaning:** If your hat isn't machine washable, consider hand washing it using a soft brush, mild soap, and cold water. Gently scrub the surface, paying extra attention to stained areas, and rinse thoroughly. Air-dry indoors.
  3. Storage: When you're not wearing your hat, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid stacking heavy objects on top of it, as this can deform the shape.
  4. Maintaining Shape: If your hat loses its shape, you can use a hat form (available at hat stores or online) to help it regain its proper form. Avoid reshaping it with your hands, as this can lead to misshaping.
  5. Customization: If you're tempted to add your personal touch to your hat, like pins or patches, go ahead! Just be cautious not to damage the fabric or compromise the structural integrity.

Remember, the better you care for your new hat, the longer it will remain a stylish and cherished accessory in your collection. Enjoy wearing it with confidence and pride!
